John P.J. Dussich Victimologist Award

Awarded annually to a person who has made significant contributions to the field of victimology and victim services. Significance is defined as having extensive academic publications, conducted numerous research projects and providing direct services to victims over a long period of time. Significance is also indicated by some major theoretical work or some innovative program that affects large numbers of victims.

Edward R. Stout Victim Practitioner Award

Awarded Annually to a victim services practitioner who has exhibited a pioneering and innovative spirit in developing services or programs beyond the scope of currently accepted practice.

Harvey Wallace Victimology Teaching Award

Awarded annually to an individual who has demonstrated excellence in undergraduate and / or graduate teaching in the area of victimology whether at an educational institution where the nominee is recognized as a master professor of victimology or at a broader level as a result of the nominee’s sustained and committed efforts to advance victimological education.
