Bylaws and Organization Committee


Objectives: The purpose of this committee is to ensure the proper corporate formation of the ASV, and that its bylaws, articles of incorporation, and other organizational documents and filings are kept current with relevant state and federal agencies.
   
Tasks: Specific tasks include:

bullet Develop and submit to the Board of Directors an initial set of by-laws for organizational governance;
spacer
bullet Serve as the initial point of contact and review for proposed changes to the by-laws;
spacer
bullet Conduct a periodic review of the by-laws and other organizational documents and corporate filings and see to their accuracy and appropriateness given the current structure, support and operations of the ASV; and
spacer
bullet Recommend to the Board of Directors any necessary or advisable changes or corrections that need to be executed in the organization’s bylaws or other organizational documents or filings.
   
Committee Makeup: The committee shall consist of the President, Vice-President,Secretary and Treasurer of the Board of Directors.
   
Frequency: This committee shall meet on an as-needed basis in order to carry out its objectives.
